Manchester’s Arndale Centre is situated right in the city centre. It has hundreds of stores ranging from ladies and mens fashion, to jewellry, restaurants and cafes and electrical stores. For a one stop shop with excellent transport links, the Arndale Centre is hard to beat.
Mall Shopping
Manchester boasts one of the largest out of town shopping malls in the country. It is called the Trafford Centre and is easily accessed via the M60 motorway. It features three large department stores; John Lewis, Selfridges and Debenhams and has great bargains during clothes sales at Christmas, Jan and the summer months. Opening from 10am -10pm during the week and 10am – 8pm on Saturdays, it also offers a cinema, restaurants and Legoland Discovery Centre, so that the children don’t become too bored!

For shopaholics who think small is beautiful, there are plenty of boutique stores back in the city centre on King Street. You will find luxury store, Harvey Nichols, Louis Vuitton, Burberry and other designer boutiques here.

Manchester makes the most of its vast array of retail outlets during the sales periods at Christmas, during the summer and the usual mid season sales.
