Viagra and Birth Control Pills

I never thought I might actually get kicked out of a discussion class on the first day of school…or the second. But in Women’s Studies, it seems like that might happen eventually.
The class has many females, considering it is all about women. There are about 5 guys in the class, and rarely do we all have the chance to speak up and share our thoughts. Our discussion time ends up ultimately in heated arguments and debates of gender issues.
Our latest topic was why pharmaceutical companies insure viagra but not birth control pills. There were many reasons brought to the table including (more…)
