Highest selling Video games of all time was, of course, Super Mario Brothers for such a long time, and we are talking since the days of “Duck Hunt” with the orange barrelled pistol that made us all sit in front of our television sets for many days in a row.

Unfortunately, Super mario Brothers has been dethroned and is no more the most sold video game of all time. The most sold video game of all time defeating the #1 title holder, is the “Nintendo Wii Sports bundle” and it achieved this feat in just a few years compared to the two-decade selling Mario series. Below we have the numbers for your viewing pleasure.

Super Mario Bros. (NES – 40.23 million)
Tetris (Game Boy – 33 million)
Super Mario World (SNES – 20 million)
Added Tip:

Did you know that all Mario Brother Video games constitute sales of almost 50 percent of all console video games sold of all time?

And more than 200,000,000 iPods had been sold worldwide, making it the best-selling digital audio player series in history…WOW!
